We have a G+2 duplex house plan of 25’ x 45’ that faces north. It has been developed keeping in perspective the comfort of a family and the principles of Vastu.

 

The layout is spread over two floors which contains a parking section, living room, kitchen, a couple of bedrooms, bathrooms, and utility and pooja rooms. The first floor contains daily essentials while the second floor has a recreational area complete with a large balcony for open air activities. The sides of the house have numerous windows that act as natural light sources which work alongside the air vents and to ensure a constant fresh air supply which is crucial for a healthy lifestyle.

 

The first level of the building has an area of 1125 sqft and includes a parking area for a bicycle, gardening supplies, and a designated parking space measuring 9’10“ x 15’11”. The main entrance located in the north east is in agreeable alignment with Vastu, confirming its south eastern positioning. The dimensions of the entire living hall is 21’5” x 12’6” integrating social interaction and relaxation for family members usually functions as the centerpiece. Kitchen is with a southeast orientation and connected to an adjacent utility space of 9’10” x 4’9” to be utilized for laundry cleaning well. The southwest master bed room also has an attached bath of size. A second northwest bedroom, measuring 11’2” x 11’8” is more private and multifunctional. A Northwest common toilet 7’ x 3’10” has pranagana “the ability the these guardians” is more accessible for everyone including guests and other resident. A northeast pooja room in 3’ x 3’6" offers tranquility.

 

The first floor comprising 1,035 sqft also features a 1’6“ utility area for household tasks. The balcony which is quite spacious too measuring 9’10” x 16’3” makes for great gardening as well as relaxation ergonomics. The northeast main door corresponds to the ground floor layout. Living hall positioned at the center translates to one of the largest rooms at 21’5” x 12’6”. This serves as the core of the home where family members are always together enjoying shared family moments. Also keeping the same proportions of 9’10” x 8’10” and 9’10” x 4’9” are the southeast Open Kitchen and Utility Space retaining household efficiency. The southwest master bedroom measures 11’2“ x 9’8” and features an attached bathroom of 7’ x 4. The northwest second bedroom is exactly like the one below and measures 11’2“ x 11’8”. The common toilet northwest also has the same dimensions relative to ground floor which is 7’ x 3’10“. Neatly tucked in the northeast is a compact pooja room measuring 3’ x 3’6, which serves as a serene sanctuary for leisure.

 

Best characteristics about this house plan includes optimal space allocation making living comfortable, well incorporated balconies and windows for outdoor relaxation, leisure or gardening, increased ventilation, natural lighting, and a family friendly building design with clearly separated shared private areas to enhance interaction, intimacy, and closeness.
