The duplex house is designed for a family that uses a G+2 structure with three levels. The house is divided into utility and living areas to optimize space. The ground flour is designed with an ample supplementary utility area of approximately 1'4" in length, sufficient for waiting whilst gardening and car-parking. A well-defined parking space has also been included where you can stand your car and do some gardening. You also have a spacious Living hall. Place of the main exit on the house is purposefully made towards Northeast. We have also included an open kitchen styled with an eastern window to the house ideal for taking breaths while set on a rotation stove, hence double as a diner style area in the southeast part of the house. The stairs are positioned in the West and face upward towards the South East.
The rest of the house is the same. With stairs leading from West towards the East, the first level opens into a family hall that can be utilized as a shared space towards the South East. The home comprises of two rooms, both of which are outfitted with a separate rest room, one including an integrated balcony. The utilization of the second external access point serves as a private garden ideal for tending to plants, granting access to whichever users would wish. The layout strikingly delivers combined circulation and discharged screened zones, fostering family gatherings when required.
The second floor integrates another utility space of approximately 1’9” and 2’ in length, ensuring functional ease. After climbing the stairs located at the west side, you will find an organized study room in the east which serves as a quiet workspace. The dual open terraces are located on this floor. One is located on the north side and is 16’1” x 14’1”, and the other is south and is 11’1” x 8’10”. These terraces serve as the main relaxation areas, along with an attached utility section for laundry and cleaning located in the southwest. Along with window, panels also ensure air circulation.
The total ground floor area is 800 sqft. This is enclosed area supported by columns and slabs. 19’2” x 16’4” garage/basement has ample sheltered space for vehicles. The main entrance is located northeast of the structure, which opens into a room, 15’1” x 12’1” living hall. In the living room, you will find drywall stairs going up from west to south. Open style kitchen and dining area is located in south east of the floor and measures 15’1” x 6’.
Just like the ground floor, the first floor features a build up area of 612 sqft. The structural design is quite uniform. Family hall on the east is located above the stairs and is 15’1” x 11’4” in area. The South Bedroom is using the same dimensions which are 11’1” x 8’10” along with an attached Southwest Bathroom measuring 3’6” x 8’10”. North Bedroom features a Northwest Bathroom with dimensions of 3’11” x 6’4”. It also has an attached balcony measuring 15’1” x 3’2” which is a sunbather’s delight.
Again with the 612 sqft area on the build-up, the second floor does not change the style. A Study Room measuring 12’4” x 11’4” is also located at the East side of the house for any calm work or study. Terraces are open so that the people can relax outside; Northern terrace has sizes of 16’1” x 14’1” and the southern terrace is 11’1” x 8’10”. A Utility portion Southwest attached fur 3’6” x 8’10” makes cleaning and laundry easy.
This duplex house plan strikes the balance of modern living and organized efficiency while integrating enough shared and private zones.
