This is a west facing duplex design with a house plan 20 * 40 with a dimension of 20′ x 40′ feet. It is a G + 4 structure with a combination of modern design and functionality. Ground floor has an ample parking space of 18’8”x20’ which caters to vehicle accommodation needs. The staircase to upper floors connects from the northwest section ensuring cross floor connectivity, the main entrance door is also northwest facing for additional flow which is aptly south facing, as the house is logically designed. To their right is a small measuring 10’x10’6” which is neatly tucked in the northeast which is a good practical room. There is an open kitchen at the southeast corner measuring 8’2”x11’ and a common bath 6’6”x5’ to complete ground floor.

 

To enable vertical movement, the first floor is connected by a welcoming passage entrance of 5’8″ x 12’11” which is right in front side of the stairs. The main door on this flooring is also towards the north side which means floor layout is fully thought through and there is a pooja room for meditative practices in northeast 3’x3′. Kitchen and dining area at southeast is very important which is why we have a wider opened space so open kitchen and dining room 15’2”x11’4” is located and connected to a utility room that is east 15’2”x4’8”.

 

The staircase leading to the upper levels is located on the southern part of the building. This enables easier access to other floors. The large living hall to the southwest has ample space for coupled activities and measures 13'3" x 15'. An additional bathroom on the first floor measuring 4' x 6'6" makes this unit easily accessible.

 

Upon climbing to the second floor, a lounge with a length of 11'10" and width of 6'2" frames the top landing portion and occupies the space directly in front of the stairs. On the eastern part, there is a kids’ bedroom measuring 15' x 14' that has an en suite bathroom (4'2" x 7'6") and a dressing room (7’ x 4’2”) designed for more privacy and functionality.
