This duplex plan that complies with Vastu Principles is 25’x65’ feet in dimension and has 4 floors (G+3). Vastu dictates the floor plan must receive eastern sunlight in order to fully blend comfort and style. Each room is tailored to ensure relaxation and enough entertainment. Key structural features are listed below.

 

Ground Floor Requirements: Constructed on comfort, function and aesthetics

The design on the ground floor encourages pooling, resting and interaction throughout the day without overly isolating the family members. The living hall is 13’4”x29’10” and faces northeast. It is optimally lit throughout the day. The parking area is the biggest area, measuring 24’x16.4’ is in the northwest, allowing ease of entry and exit for vehicles. The pooja room, placed in the northeast corner (4‘1’’x3’9’’) is separated from the rest of the household, allowing it to serve as a retreat for meditation and spiritual activities. For increased utility, the kitchen (open concept) is placed in the southeast corner and is efficiently connected to the stationary utility area (8’3”x5’7”). The bedroom has been tucked away in the southwest corner measuring 10’9” x 16’1” which provides privacy and comfort, along with an adjacent bathroom (4’3” x 6’10”). Directly to the west is the dining hall (11’2” x 9’2”) which further enhances the level of productivity of this floor as it is well suited for family meals. The stairs can be found in the northwest quadrant which allows easy movement to the upper floors.

 

First Floor: Optimized For Family Interaction and Quality Time

First floor is dedicated for open space, fresh air and calmment with a view of the open sky in the center to enhance ventilation. The eastern side family hall (13’4” x 23’6”) serves as the perfect place for family interaction and leisure activities. On the western side, there is a well thought out study room (10’10” x 8’8” ) which provides adequate focus. Bedroom 1 in the south east (19’6” x 16’1”) is quite spacious and has an adjacent bathroom (4’3” x 6’10”). There is also Bedroom 2 in the North side which is 13’5” x 19’4” and features an abundance of natural light, as well as an attached bathroom (4’1” x 8’5”). The balcony area (19’4” x 4’5”) is also quite immense making it perfect for relaxation.

 

Second Floor: Functional and Family-Friendly Amenities and Activities

The family hall (14'4” x 13’5"), located on the east side, is an exquisite hallmark of family retreat on the upper level. Notice the spacious bedroom (13'5" x 19'8") northeast of the upper level, which has a private washroom, and a balcony for increased convenience. Entertainment and relaxation is also catered for in the mini home theater (19'4” x 25’3”) on the southern side.

 

Third Floor: Social and Leisure Activities in Open Areas

A headroom (14'4'' x 13'5'') to the upper terrace is also available on the 3rd level. The open terraces have dimensions 19'4” x 18’4” in the north and 19’4” x 25’3 in the South, thus offering ample room for social activities, as well as basking in the sun.
