The designed 20’ x 50’ east facing duplex house plan with G + 2 floors has been developed considering the modern lifestyle emphasizing both ease and work balance. It combines comfort lay out features like the living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and utility spaces with outdoor comforts of balconies, terraces, and even a pergola. Most importantly, the house is breathable due to strategically placed windows and ventilation air passages. Ventilation and natural light got first consideration, house placement of the windows and airflow spaces passes helped ensure a healthy living environment.
There is a compact utility area of size 1’6 and 2’ on the ground floor which covers an area of 1,000 sq. ft. While the parking area with space of 19’ x 9’10” can host bikes and a car and even allow tiny indoor gardening. In the southeast part, the main entrance comes alive where opening to a central living hall with size 14’4” x 11’9”. The Hall is primarily meant for hosting people or ease of relaxation on normal days.
With the norther side of the hall, a staircase lands running along the north in south north side direction. The southwest is where the open kitchen is and it measures 9’3” x 7’8” which makes it possible to flow into the living space heightening coherence. In addition cum adding the open kitchen gives the other side improved comfort.A splendid bedroom on the western side which is 14’1” x 13’7” comes with an attached bathroom of 6’7” x 3’8”. It ensures both privacy as well as convenience.
The floor plan in the first floor consists of another utility spaces (2’ and 2’6”) and a cozy living hall on the south measuring 14’1” x 16” which cumulatively add up to 713 sq.ft. A bedroom on the western side measuring 14’1” x 9’5” has an attached bathroom (6’7” x 3’9”) located in the northeast and a southwest bolcony (7’4” x 4’2”) offering outdoor views. There is another Study room toward the east which is a quiet work area measuring 14’1” x 10’1”. The study room is complemented with an attached bathroom (6’7” x 4’7”) as well as a balcony (14’1” x 4’3”) which enhances the openness.
Second floor mirrors the first in terms of all the utility space previously mentioned, but adds additional outdoor living space. West terrace has a more rounded rectangular shape and is measures 14'1" x 13'7" making it ideal for gardening while the east terrace is bigger at 14'9" x 14'4" and includes an 11’1 x 14’1 pergola. It's perfect for lounging, plant care, tea time or relaxation.
