The duplex house plan G+2 with dimensions 16’ x 40’ have its east side facing outdoors. It is planned leaving no gaps in aesthetics and functionality. A clear delineation of zoning is maintained for the private areas. Focused on natural ventilation and lighting, circulation on the three levels is ventilated and illuminated throughout the space. Ground floors house the areas meant for casual and social purposes. Furthermore, each floor after that includes private rooms fitted with essential amenities. Spatial design from the entry area to the open terrace is in alignment for utility comfort and ease of living while providing work within confined spaces

Ground floor opens up with a parking area measuring 15' x 6'3", which offers a compact single-car setup along with spacious bay irritations for two wheeled vehichles. A northeast facing main entrance maintains smooth navigational channels to the home and creates an auspicious feel. A living room with 14’8” x 11’10” dimensions is placed in the northwest corner Self-sufficient for gatherings and relaxation. In addition, is the staircase which is placed adjacent to the living area on the west side, further leading to upper floors and smoothly integrates without impeding the internal flow. Convenience for movement steps is provided by the dining hall which is ideally posited enabling free movement between with both the living room and the kitchen.

In the southeast, the vertical utility space measuring 3’ x 15’ enhances the modern design of the south-eastern open kitchen as a utility area for washing and storage. A compact common bathroom southwest of the eastern-facing kitchenette, measuring 4’ x 4’7’’ completes the ground floor.

 

The first floor comprises two sufficient-sized bedrooms, both of which are equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The southeast-facing bedroom also includes attached bathroom measuring 4’ x 6’, while the northeast-facing bedroom is 14’8’’ x 9’6’’ and has a complementary northwest-facing attached 4’ x 7’’ bathroom towards the northwest side. These decisions are favorable for the usage of natural light and air circulation. Further, a shared balcony of 4’9’’ x 15’6’’ positioned above the ground floor enhances the usability and aesthetic of this level, providing unobstructed views from the west and an ideal setting for relaxation or forage style plant arrangements.Another bedroom, also 14'8 x 9'6 for the reasons mentioned above, is located in the southern section of the house on the second floor. Along with boasting an attached 4' x 6' bathroom, the second floor is dedicated for unfurnished space with an open terrace of 14’8’’ x 17’3’’.Taking slow walks, socializing, gardening, or even just relaxing under the open sky are some of the things one can enjoy from this terrace space. The emphasis of the plan marks combination of soft space indoors and unrestricted openness outdoors which makes a terrace the focal point of the design.

 

The elegant arrangement of spaces over coupled levels is achieved without compromising on splendor and ease of access with this G+2 duplex plan within the size restricted 16' x 40' plot. The position of the windows and the surrounding utility spaces achieve adequate lighting and airflow with minimal obstruction. Each floor provides sufficient separation and zoned areas facilitating a broad spectrum of engagement, seclusion, and recreation. The resultant structure is a house that is open, comfortable, breathable, and spacious while feeling relaxed and devoided of clinched clutter while still retaining basic features.
