The residential structure consists of G + 3 floors and is built on a 15 ft by 40 ft plot facing to the west. The ground floor has a 1 BHK unit designed to yield rental returns below and a 2 BHK duplex on the upper floors for the owner's residence. The ground floor contains a parking space which is further to the south attached to the staircase. The living hall, which has a size of 11'7'' x 8'3'' is directly connected to an open kitchen located on the southeast side measuring 8'8''x 6''. A compact pooja room measuring 3'x2'6'' is located to the northeast of the kitchen. A bedroom towards the southwest measuring 7'9''x 10'1'' is equipped with an attached bathroom measuring 4'x 7'9''. There is a staircase in the southwest corner leading to the upper floors and the main entrance of the building on the northwest side.The first level has a 1'6" stripe around it which acts as a support zone for vertical circulation and a utility area. It also welcomes us into a drawing room (8’3” x 6’9”) which is nearby the entrance, and enhances the inviting nature of the entry area. Increased comfort and usability is provided with the 5 foot wide balcony at the front. The open kitchen, now rotated towards southeast, is beside another pooja room situated in the northeast measuring 3’ x 2’6”. Its dimensions are 8’8” x 9’3”. The drawing and dining serve the main entrance which is located in the northwest. The southwest region sees the continuation of the staircase.

 

On second level, we have a spacer lounge area (3'8" x 23'4") act as a standing transitional space right at the end of the stairs. On the southern side of the floor is a common bathroom (4’ x 8’), which is also south facing, alongside a gardening balcony (12’2" x 5'6") that offers a generous amount of space and peaceful vibes outdoors. It houses two bedrooms, with the first having a west view and measuring 12'2" x 9'3", while the second facing south measuring 9’4” x 8’. There's a bathroom attached that comes in at 8’ x 3’6”.

 

The layout of the third floor has been made such that the headroom and vertical circulation are facilitated with a 1'6'' utility strip, alongside a storeroom to the west (12’2” x 5’2”). On the floor, an expansive open terrace measuring 12’2” x 27’7” is present which can be used for social interactions, gardening, or simply relaxing.

 

Alongside this, natural light as well as ventilation has been made possible with the use of strategically placed windows and vents throughout the building. They serve their purpose optimally with the open terrace which enhances the aesthetics and usability of the top floor. A separate 1 BHK unit has also been placed on the ground floor to increase rental possibilities while offering a pleasing mix of comfort and beauty.
