This is a simple 1BHK house plan that consists of a measurement of 15’×40’ which equals to 600 square feet. The house is designed in such a way that offers practicality and ease of access to rest features which offers well-balanced living. It is constructed with two floors (G+1) and faces towards the East direction, making sure that ample sunlight and fresh air can circulate throughout the day. The structure is built keeping in mind future needs which adds value for families who are planning to expand in the near future.

 

The parking space is conveniently located at the front of the house on the ground floor, is 14’ long by 9’7” wide, and accommodates either a car or multiple bikes. This region is nearby the stairs, making it easy to access. Next to the parking space is a cleaning appliance storage room used for household chores, such as a 14’ by 3’ washing and organizing cleaning tools space. The southeast staircase gives access to the upper floor and is oriented in the north-south direction. The unobstructed view of the front living room is open concept, measuring 9’ by 13’7”, one of the most inviting and large spaces in the house. The kitchen is positioned in the southeast next to the living room for easy access and maximal light exposure, while windows are also present in other parts. The kitchen is supplied with a washing machine connection of their choosing. Also, a common bathroom, measuring 5’6” by 5’ located at the northwest corner for easy access to residents and visitors alike.

 

The ground floor of the house is complemented by the first floor which has a more distinctive layout. There is also a balcony toward the front of the house, measuring 14'3" by 5', which is accessible from the stairs. It can be seen that this balcony further provides an outdoor area for the residents, adding to the living area. Further fostering an appropriate environment for family interaction is the combined room with the living area, which in turn, is coupled with the kitchen located on the southeast side of this floor. The living room is 13'7" by 10’6'' and the kitchen 8'4" by 8'. The bedroom on the first floor can be found in the southwest corner for maximum privacy, and measures 9' by 9'6''. There is also an adjacent auxiliary space which is 9'1" width and 3'1" in height, giving convenient access to washing and cleaning materials. This room is specifically designated for laundry cleaning. In the northeast corner is the pooja room that is also separate, measuring 2'7" by 2'8". This space is used for quiet meditation and prayer. Lastly, a common bathroom measures 3'11” x 9'6'' on this floor which is provided at the northwest corner for easier access to the users.

 

The open-to-sky (OTS) region contributes to the home’s natural lighting and air circulation having dimensions 4′10″ by 3′7″ on the northwest corner.This 1BHK house plan makes the best use of the area’s 600 square feet, which is why it adds structural beauty as well as comfort.
