This is a design for a luxurious duplex house on an independent plot of 30’ x 50’ with an east-facing entrance. The well-ventilated design retains the comfort of eyes with the living space as well as special features like balconies, a utility area, and a modular kitchen, while also complying with Vastu. Plenty of scope for family functions is also taken into account, as the house will span three-storeys.
The first level features generous vehicle accommodation space in an 14’ 5” x 28’ 10” lot. An entrance facing the east leads to the living space that comes with a large hall (14’ 1” x 19’ 11”) that allows free-flowing access to the dining section as well as a modern kitchen (10’ 3” x 7’ 8”) This design is enhanced by an open-plan setup. The unit is also fitted with a staircase which allows movement to the upper floors. Two bedrooms complete this story: One guest room at 11’ 4” x 11’ 6” accompanied by a balcony measuring 18’ 3” x 5’ 4” .There is also common washroom (7' 6” x 4’ 9”) This design also has a 145 inch x9 inch legroom feature for enhanced ventilation as side windows are placed on all the sides of the structure minus the back.Balancing the private and common areas is a family hall followed by three bedrooms and a Pooja unit on the first floor. A balcony, attached washroom, and a Pooja unit are included in the first bedroom. The family hall serves as space for gathering while the master bedroom is designed for privacy and comfort. The master bedroom also has a spacious balcony and is accompanied by an attached bathroom and dressing unit. All rooms are pre-measured to save any discrepancies later.
The second floor consists of a storage area with a washroom and additional drying
spaces for clothes. For further ventilation and lighting, an open area directly under the roof achieves this. Ample space, luxurious and modern amenities, and easy accessibility define this duplex house design while ensuring comfort and strict compliance to Vastu Shastra.
