This 30’ x 35’ house with west-facing windows is designed as a G+3 structure, which has a two bedroom, hall and kitchen (2BHK) master unit attached to a 1BHK unit for rent. The ground floor has a parking bay, living hall, open kitchen, and one bedroom. The first and second floors are 2BHK with living halls and open kitchens and two bedrooms with a common washroom. On the third floor, there is an open terrace that can be used for recreational activities, gardening, and relaxation.
The ground floor has an area of 1050 sqft which consists of a parking bay that is 9’11” x 13’7” in dimension. The stairs are located at the northwest part of the house, leading to the east. Entrance at the northeast goes to living hall that is 11’4” x 17’2”. The open kitchen at the southeast is 8’6” x 12’6” with a common toilet 6’7” x 4’1” located at south. One bedroom that is southwest facing is 10’6” x 11’5”
The blueprint for the first floor is the same as the previous two while the area remains 840 sqft. After ascending from the west side stairs, there is an 8’ x 26’ passage leading to the main entrance at the northeast. Other rooms include the living hall, which measures 11’4” x 16’7”, a common bathroom sporting dimensions of 6’7” x 4’1” positioned centrally to the South, the southeast kitchen (8’6” x 12’2”), the southwest bedroom (10’6” x 11’5”), and a northwest bedroom (9’ x 11’4”).
The layout doesn’t change with the second floor as it keeps the overall design of the first floor with built-up area of 840 sqft.
An open terrace with dimensions of 26’10” x 28’8” becomes newly added in the third floor. So does the additional area of 840 sqft, expanding relaxation, gardening, and leisure possibilities.
The approach we took with this house plan strives to optimize the comfort of the occupants through natural light and room ventilation for efficiency.
