The duplex house plan above facing north is for a G+3 building with a size of 25' x 30'. This plan follows space management principles of comfort, ventilation, and functionalisim, and tries to make the best use of the space available.
On the ground floor, there is a designated bike and car parking space of 24' x 12'5". The house is entered from the northeast side where the main door is and once opened the user can see the living hall which is also a kitchen hall and has the dimensions of 9'5” x 10'2’’. Moreover, in the southeast part of the kitchen, there is an open kitchen of 6'6" x 10'9". The southwest part of the house has the stairs but they go towards the east side. Also, there is a common bathroom of 5'4” x 5'6” that is in the west direction. The utility space on this floor measures 1'6" x 3'6".
Starting with the interior layout, the first floor commences with a family hall measuring 10’9”, functioning as the main relaxation area. One northeast corner bedroom is 9’5” x 11’4” and is relatively quiet and spacious. Also, a common bathroom located in the northern direction 4’9” x 6’6” is provided for easy access. Moreover, a second northwest corner bedroom 9’9” x 11’6” is featured with an attached bath measuring 5’4” x 5’5” for ease of use.
The second floor comes with extra features like the workroom located next to the family hall; its dimensions are 13’11” x 13’10”. It can be set up as an office or an artist’s studio. The balcony located in the northeast measuring 9’2” x 11’9” serves leisure purposes, like gardening. Lastly, the bedroom on this floor, located on the northwest side has the dimensions 9’8” x 11’5” with a joined bathroom also measured 5’5” x 5’5”. Hence, the design is a combination of talent and beauty.
The 3rd floor accommodates both leisure and functional activities. There is a 7’ x 7’7” headroom space at the southeast corner which can be used as a storage or utility area. For other household activities, there is also a laundry room which is 4’5” x 7’7” in size. The open terrace measuring 20’ x 17’10” provides ample space for sitting, resting, or gardening. This level of the house is adequately ventilated and well lit with natural light.
