The proposed residential building will be constructed on a plot measuring 20 by 36 feet and facing eastwards. It will be a G+3 structure which consists of the ground floor, two identical upper floors, and an open terrace on the third floor. The design intends to achieve space efficiency and incorporates advanced systems for ventilation and illumination, as well as aesthetically-pleasing and functional designs.
The ground floor has a build-up area of 720 square feet. The dimension includes a 3 feet 10 inches length of a corridor for easy movement through the corridors.
There is also a parking area measuring 7 feet 7 inches by 5 feet 11 inches which can accommodate a car and allows for some space for gardening. The stairs are located in the northeast position and move up along the south-north axis. The main door is located in the south. After entering the house, there is an extensive living hall which is 14 feet 4 inches by 9 feet 10 inches. Other adjoining spaces are situated under the southeast kitchen facing are 9 feet 4 inches by 8 feet, a southwest bedroom measuring 10 feet 2 inches by 9 feet 10 inches and common washrooms of which one is in the southwest measuring 3 feet 2 inches by 4 feet while the other one in the northwest, 4 feet 9 inches by 4 feet. Also, OTS (open-to-sky) has been provided at the back the building for better ventilation and natural lighting.
Corridors have a passing area of 3 feet 3 inches in length, allowing clearing smooth mobility withing the corridors, The first floor has additional floor area of 720 square feet. In the south part, the main entrance can also be seen. Upon construction in the stairs ascending from the north side direction, there is a balcony measuring 7 feet 7 inches by 5 feet 10 inches which is clearly visible. Just as in the first floor, the living hall has the same area as in the ground floor, 14 feet 4 inches by 9 feet 10 inches. Southeast kitchen is a little larger as compared to the other one and measured 9 feet 4 inches by 8 feet 1 inches, Southwest bedroom on the other side measured 9 feet 7 inches by 9 feet 11 inches. Like the ground flore, there are wto common bathrooms, one in the southwest portion measuring 3 feet 2 inches by 4 feet and the other in the northern part measuring 4 feet 9 inches by 4 feet. OTS feature is kept also on this floor where it is possible to open in the upper side so its retains to control air flow and light into the building.
The second floor mirrors the first floor. Therefore everything is fitted because it is a basic floor plan. This helps in achieving sameness in construction and makes it possible to employ the same design elements in case any further floors are built in the future.
The third floor has an open terrace that measures 13’ 5’’ x 16’ 5’’, so it can be used for sitting, relaxing, or tending to a garden. It comes with a common bathroom of 4 x 4 9 in dimensions so that it may be used easily. The OTS feature is also kept here for further helping air circulation and illumination on this floor.
