Guide to Using the Cement / AAC Block Calculator
This easy-to-use tool helps you estimate how many cement blocks or AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks you’ll need for your wall based on its size and joint thickness. It’s perfect for builders, architects, and homeowners planning wall construction.
Step 1 – Enter Wall Dimensions
Wall Length: Type the total length of your wall.
Example: If the wall is 10 feet long, enter “10.”
Wall Height: Type the total height of the wall.
Example: If the wall is 8 feet high, enter “8.”
Unit: Choose your measurement unit — ft, m, cm, inches, or mm.
Example: If you measured in feet, select “ft.”
Step 2 – Enter Mortar Thickness
Mortar Thickness: Enter how thick the mortar joint is between the blocks.
Example: If you’re using a 0.5-inch mortar joint, type “0.5.”
Unit: Choose inches, cm, or mm from the dropdown beside the field.
Step 3 – Enter Wastage Percentage
Wastage Percentage: Add a small extra percentage to account for cutting or breakage during construction.
Example: Enter “5” if you want to include 5 % extra blocks.
